# Easiest way to grab stills from a video ?

working on setting up a video gallery for a friend, and i would like to grab still’s out of the videos as previews, but im stuck using the “print screen” button then cropping each still

whats an easier way ?

are there any free capture utilities ?

If use Cyberlink PowerDVD to play videos it has a capture feature
