doesn’t ebay’s automatic maximum bidding defeat the whole sniping thing? ---

If you put your max bid in way in advance it will most likely get beat and you will have to enter a new max bid and so on. But sniping you also run the risk and not beating the winning bidders max bid and getting screwed, but it’s worth the risk. ---

it takes a while for ebay to post your Max bid. If you get a software that puts in a bid right before its over the max bid wont have enough time to bid for you so you’ll lose. ---

Pretty easy concept. If it’s pointless than how come the vast majority of people here snipe or use sniping site and software to win auctions? I would never bid on a item days in advance with my max bid and just let it sit. ---

I never do either, I place my bid when there’s about 10 mins left or less, and unless nobody else wants it or it’s misspelled and nobody found it, people start bidding like crazy in those last 10. so with or without me using software, the price skyrockets. by the time it’s over, most people will bid as high as they’re willing to go. ---

Gixen FTMFW. Spoke with the owner/developer for a bit and he seemed pretty cool. He doens’t make a profit but hoping to with his pay-for-use mirror service. In one day, won two Yankee/Detroit tickets for $8, Enyce hoodie for $1.04, and some other shit. h0lla!
