im looking into getting a 2G Eclipse non turbo. The only ones i can find are automatics and i REALLY want a 5 speed. how hard and how much would it be to do a 5 speed swap into one of these? and who would be willing to help me lol. thanks in advance for the advice. ---

price difference between 2g N/A manuals and autos should be negligible… ---

2G eclipse’s are a dime a dozen. I wouldn’t do a swap on it, it’s a pain in the ass and i believe if you keep looking, you’ll find one that’s 5-speed. ---

If you plan on making this turbo, please buy a turbo model as swapping between the two is a no-no, and so is turboing the n/a. Otherwise, follow everyone else’s advice and just buy a 5-speed, as the price should be the same between them. ---

my friend just found a 99 gs with 9,000 miles on it, it was a 5 speed. he is now selling his 99 gs auto with about 50,000 miles i can ask if you want to know how much, silver with black leather oz edition ---
