does anyone know if an ecu from an 88-89 integra would work on an 86-87? cause from what i have found there is only one difference and that is that one is vac advance and the other is electronic advance. I dont know what the difference is and if the 87 will run with this ecu. Any insight would be useful

vacuum advance is just that. the distributor advances timing based on a vacuum signal.

electronic advance controls timing based on the different sensor readings, and the maps in the ecu.
