this is the dumbest arguement ever. I like both cars and platforms. I just had to chuckle about someone buying a new car and thinking he’s gonna pwn the streetz ---

:shrug: 1. My car is slow, I want to make it a little less slow. 2. blah blah sell and jump on f-bod band wagon show up to track/show and see 80 other F-bods. 3. I have the notch, its not as common as F-bods or hatch foxes. I enjoy the car. Did I miss anything? ---

Sorry… maybe I missed something. I thought the 2 quickest cars on NYSPEED were fox mustangs with 20+ yr old technology? They are also both running AFR heads. If I recall correctly, the 2 fastest LSX motors on here are also running AFR heads… but I’ve been out of the loop. LZ wants to pick on the 2v and 4v mustangs… because they were mostly 289ci. The Mach 1 motor made 320hp… with 289 cubes. — 1.1hp/ci The LS1 motor makes 345hp with 346 cubes? — .99hp/ci 03/04 Cobra - 4.6L + 8psi = 425hp — 1.4hp/ci GT500 - 5.4L + 13psi = 540hp — 1.6hp/ci ZR1 6.2L + 10psi = 638hp — 1.6hp/ci (never mind the fact that the motor is about $15k and is dry sump 🙂 ) I’m not a ford fanboy or anything… but cube for cube… the Ford is making more power with the displacement it is given. Am I missing something? ---

ugh train wreck. Whether or not a 5.0 makes 400 hp like the LS1, i guarantee the fox body with 400hp will beat on the LS1 with 400hp all day long. They are way lighter. Geez i love my car but c’mon. ---
