# electrical: car deck problems.

I have a 1990 240sx.  
I tried to wire up my car deck but it wouldn’t power on. I’ve connected all the wires together but I still don’t have any power going through it. I’ve connected the yellow to the red/black and the red to the blue. Still didn’t work, then i realized theres 2 red/black wires. I’ve tried to connect both of them one after another and it still doesn’t work. Anyone has any idea?

Check your ground and also use a tester and check for constant power wire (red wire i believe).

Wow, you are connecting to the vehicle harness wires and not even testing anything first.

Ya I would get a voltmeter and test everything properly if you have to know how or send it to someone that does know,

check the AUDIO fuse under the diver side kick panel, its a 10A fuse… it happened to me as well you might have shorted out the ACC wire (red/black i think) and blown the fuse!
