every thursday night 6:30-9 starting may 1 there is a cruise at the Elks 11 lodge in lincoln place on buttermilk hollow rd. Oldies DJ and grilled food. All cars are welcome but its 99% classics and muscle so do yourself a favor and leave ur import, turner at home because no one is gonna look twice.

i’m not tryin to put down those cars i’m just telling you, this is how it is. Its mostly older guys much like the nigro’s cruise and they don’t particularly care to look at those cars. Plus its keeps away stuff that happend up QSL.

At the LP Cruise, someone saying/thinking that is a distinct possibility…
Is a real good cruise, small, local guys, but its fun… I know a guy or two down there. I’ll have my blazer down there for sure on most thursdays this year… Cutty you gonna be hanging down there a bit as well?

i’ll be there just about every time the pirates don’t play on a thursday night. The GS will make its grand unveiling there on may 5th. Alot of people that i’ve met from the elks cruise have had a hand in that car. Its not stupid for those people to not want turner cars there, keeps some uneeded headaches away. It would be like me bringing my GS to a MG car cruise, its doesn;t fit in.

actually its a classic car cruise… besides space is limited there so if you were to park your talon there ur just taking a place of a car that belongs there. Get it through your head that they don’t care about that type of car there.

no i just don’t think with such ignorance.
as for todd the only reason there is an import night is because of the lack of support some of us acutal racers (not talking about 14-20s pos kids) didn’t have anything but test n tune nights to race. we still can’t race actual events due to the whole computer assisted fuel injection stuff. although i agree there shouldnt be anyone left out that’s a so-so arguement. but as for the classic car thing i can gaurentee you there will be new vettes, camaros, stuff like that there that isn’t classified as “classic” but yet no one complains. i’m not saying i want a bunch of jackass kids there but i am saying that just because i have a talon does not mean i don’t like to hang out, cruise, talk to, meet all the old guys that i get all my shit i do to my car from anyway…and that i dont’ have something i can bring to the table either
