# Ender's S4-A guide to being hood rich

**Mod list so far is:**
GIAC-X 93 tune
Gutted downpipes (piggy pipes)
APR bi-pipe
Forge DVs
SSAC style cat back
H&R springs (ghetto setup on stock shocks)
AWE Vent boost gauge
Hardwired Escort 8500 by rear view mirror
CF Wrapped the dash
Plasti-dipped the shifter surround & other 2 wood pieces (came out good, pics soon)
Painted front grill flat black
**Repair list so far:**
New valve cover gaskets
New rotors and pads
New front axles (torn cv boots)
New rear wheel bearing
Replaced 2 02 sensors
**Need to find the time for:**
APR snub mount
Power steering pump
Drove to Philly to pick up some wheels, been wanting these for a while - 18x8.5 BBS RC’s
Old and busted:
New hotness:
Still need to replace VW center caps
Didn’t like the wood dash trim, so I wrapped it with this carbon fiber-looking cloth matrial. I think it came out pretty damn good. You can see the old wood on the right and the wrapped piece on the left:

New, still need to finish painting my hazard and shifter surround:

That cloth actually looks pretty good, as soon as I saw carbon fiber looking I was expecting a fuck up of massive proportions.

Yea. I actually hate carbon fiber anything, but this stuff looked really good in sample pictures so I went for it. The alternative was brushed aluminum, but that’s hard to replicate and the oem set is like $350 used. New dash for $30!

did you buy those from a B5+ passat owner? 5x112 RCs are hard to come by, good find.

Yes I did get them from the guy with a b5 passat haha. And they are 8.5" wide - the rc’s that came on jettas are all 8"

no, the 04.5+ GLi RCs are **18x7.5** and 5x100 + 38
but nice wheels none the less. needs to go a bit lower if you can though:thumbup

Yup, I need to ditch my springs for coilovers. Also not sure what to do about the rears, the tires are rubbing a little on the inside of the fender. Get 225s and stretch?
