anyone here know of any garages besides sumarus auto in edmonton who would do swaps such as a ca into a 240?? ---

GO TO AUTODREAM. it might be a trip but it is money well spent. Ask around about Sumaru’s and you will find out why i do not recomend them :axe: Or you can do it your self it is stuiply easy. ---

get the wiring done by autodream, than do the swap yourself. i wish i did my own swap but autodream did do it and they did an awsome job. I would highly suggest them if you are getting someone to do it. ---

Yea dont do midtown they are much more Honda specialized, just do the engine swap yourself like they said. And get the wiring done by someone who has done it and made it work. Theres guys on this forum that can wire it for you. ---

agree^^ do it yourself and autodream for the harness. If you can change a spark plug you can do the swap. RB swaps are easy as hell too. ---

What ever you do do not go to Sumaru’s. They have had my car for 5 months now, its not quite the same body condition as it was taken in now. They dont have enough mechanics to get my car done. ---

they sold me a swap that couldnt make from the west side to the east side unless i stopped to fill up. they stated that i paid for a running swap and thats what i got, but i got was a car that was running so rich that for me to get 300km i paid $100 and that was when 91 was at 0.86. also my car would studder and stall unless i had my foot on the gas at all times. when i went back about the car running terribly rich he told me that if i wanted him to tune it and find out what was wrong with my car it would cost me for him to diagnose it. and his time is money. well i left it with him for a week and nothign was dont to it. the custom bottom mount exhasut manifold they sold me cracked 3 days after i got my car. less than 500 km. went back to find out about the mani. was told that it was a ss auto crome and were very surpised that my gt25r turbo cracked it. and would not give me back my money even thou they told me it was a custom exhaust mani and i told him if i knew it was an ss auto i would not have bought it. when i went back to pick up my car the third time after he put the stock manifold on he got into a argument with my friends about stuff that was said on this forum. after this i said i was never dealign with them again and what was wrong with my car was a maf and tunning but i was really amazed that a shop that was so well known for doing sr swaps couldnt figure out a simple lack of air going into the engine.( i think he just wanted to suck somemore money out of me but i didnt by into it.) all in all i would like to thank flavio, mike, kent and rob for helping get my car runnign good and i support autodreams for work with swaps. also apex for helping me tune my car this past week. 276hp 272 fp tq sorry for and typos or shit running on i did this at night after a long day of nothing. ---

1. they are slow 2. many people have problems after, ex. leaking oil from a turbo 3. car comes out a little different then it went in, body wise. ---

yeah found a big dent on my fire wall on monday that wasnt there when i sent the car in… also the said 2 weeks took 6 and after that 3 trips back. the only reason its fast it becasue me flavio kent rob and mike tried different mafs and upgraded fuel pumps to get the thing running. **sumarus has nothing to do with my car being fast** and also allthat stuff we did to get ti runnnig didnt take to much time and it wasnt hard. but my friends only wanted a little beer and some colts and were happy to help unlike the shop that i spent several thousands of dollars trying to make my dream off 300hp come true, instead i worked on it with my friedns and almost got there and **got fucked with a SANDPAPER condom** by the shop that said they could but couldnt [Next page](https://forums.speedlife.net/t/engine-swaps/140548.md?page=2)
