/start rant k, so not the whole weekend, just friday/saturday so far. well, one of my girlfriends is moving back down south next week because of unforeseen circumstances, and we were trying to hook up. so she talks me into taking the 240 for the 1.5 hour trek to go see her. the naughty texts helped out too. so i fill up, and head out. the first time i’ve taken the car out on a trip out of town since i swapped in the RB, i was curious to see how it would go. the drive there was pretty good aside from the holiday traffic and construction. about 45 minutes out i pull up behind a few cars doing 105. and i figure this is a good speed, so i just keep the tranny out of passing gear. then i start smelling a gas type smell, thinking someone up ahead is running rich as f@ck. i roll up the window, and it goes away. i pass them i still smell it, wtf? i pull over just outside of north bay, fresh air had never smelled better. i blew a hole in my sending unit and am now streaming gas into the hatch. i pick her up, inform her of my situation, and we go to crappy tire. try numerous “fixes” get fed up, go back to her place huffing on more fumes the whole way. we decide to go drinking that night, so, grab a bottle, she invites a friend over, start drinking, i decide i’m gonna change out of my smelly gas clothes into the extra ones i brought. they smell like gas so i throw them out on the patio to air out till morning. we go out, i meet some people, have more drinks, set off fireworks, hear the loudest civic in my life, he said they were only his “winter” subs, suuure. ppl start thinning out, so the three of us head back to her place. i got to sleep on the couch. her friend got her and her bed. woke up, and it’s cold, miserable, and wet out. plus i’m hung over and didn’t get laid the night before. plus i still have to fix the fuel leak in the rain. i rig it up with parts from elsewhere in the fuel system and get it drivable. go to change into my dry clothes, and well, they aren’t dry anymore, they stayed out on the deck all damn night. so now i’m wet, cold, hungover, pissed off, and hungry. i fuel up, and head back for home. morale of the story, change the sending unit when you change the fuel pump, bring more clothes than you would ever need, and never trust someone who says they’ll take care of you all night long, cause, well, they prolly sent the text message to the wrong person. hope everyone else’s may 2-4 ends up better!! /end rant ---

LOL. That sucks man, hopefully Sunday/Monday work better for you. I hate explaining to passengers “My shitty car stinks like gas, but it’s okay, I promise it won’t light on fire and kill us”. ---

lol Ouch I was working on my car most of the day, finally got the fucking power steering bracket to move enough so I could take off the belt. I took off the power steering hose from the reservoir tank into a bucket, cuz it seemed to be blocking the way, then I accidentally knocked the bucket over. lol I still had to lay under the car, and I was soaked and had power steering fluid all over me. Fun day. But at least I made some progress. I also hate explaining to passengers why the car has such stiff suspension and other random things. Its completely stock btw. lol ---

poor guy, I can relate to the laid part sadly. I must give my girl the backhand to make sure she understands we need stress relief. The rest however is fine with me, kegger and BBQ 2 days yay for alcohol…back to work tuesday for a 12 hour shift. ---

my nite was pretty bad went to a bar .my buddy and I had 2 fit ladies randomly start talking to us, then his ex decides to cockblock, all this happened 10 minutes after we arrived. The nite was doomed from then on and i was cockblocked by a total stranger. ---

heres the coles note version of what i gotta say: - Its an S-Chassis, it’ll fall apart all the time - always bring a change of clothes haha cuz you never know and im pretty you u get that much now - Golf analogy time: Cuddling is landing on the green, it doesnt mean shit if you cant get a hole in one - women arent worth the trip, im sure u coulda found a girl who you could have gotten some from like less than a block away…unless you live in bumfcuk ontario where theres no one around. Its still a long weekend, make it up today bro, its only a shitty weekend when you stop trying to make something of it haha ---

my weekend was pretty good aswell Dad was cutting the grass, and the pull behind lawn mower tipped over, the gas line broke. It sprayed gas all over the exhaust and caught on fire. Gas Tank blew up, and battery did too. now after the fire department left we have a burnt 3000 lawn mower. beauty ---
