Most modern FWD/AWD vehicles are a pain in the balls to service a transmission in. Clutch remove/replace on my G6 is 11.5hr book time.

Total labor and fluids for transfer case & transmission (which I had drained completely, no point in putting new fluid with old fluid if the scheduled service is 3k miles away anyways…) was just shy of $650. Not too bad.
The cost of the parts and the rental are what killed me lol

650 for 14.5 hours. thats 45 an hour for a dealership it doesn’t get much better. every dealer ive worked at or been too was $86 and up. fuck Firestone is $95. good work ern. oh btw i was at the super NAPA in colonie today, talked to corporate and they agreed that giving you your pay check in quarters was a good idea too. then i bought a cold soda from bill.

The store is separate from the DC. The DC sells the parts to the stores, just like Save-A-Lot and a number of other places. There is a mark up in price at that point. So the Storefront, as its referred to, doesn’t claim all the sales the Albany DC does, only their own. They just have the convenience of a god damn warehouse (largest DC out of the serving 7 DC’s) at their back door. But they still gotta buy from it.
Its slightly complicated but after working there it makes sense. Although I think that’s asinine. If they cut out the middle man, the end user would pay less. We should buy from the manufacturer, mark it up and sell it, like WalMart. But oh well

LOL 🙂 only was able to get baseline dyno because Moon didn’t have proper software update to unlock my ECU. Car does have a previous tune. I’ll post pics and details later

personally if you don’t want morgan tuning the car i’d have tach motor works in LI tune it for 500.
erkel is the tuner there and he’s great.
