Hows it going guys

Well i decided i would like to rebuild my engine with stock OEM parts… i basically want to replace…

\>\> all my piston rings
\>\> head gasket
\>\> drivetrain (lifters, cam, rockers…etc)
\>\> valve cover gaskets

can anyone guide me thru this?
if i would take it into a experienced mechanic shop how much would it cost? would it be cheaper to look for a KA motor with less than 60k on it?

Can somone please advice me before i make a decision i will regret…

Im not looking to spend more than 1000 if i have to spend greater - i will have to sell the car - 93 s13 - 180k (buring oil and drive train has alot ticking)…

If you’re stuck and need your car back on the road, i’m sure someone here will HAVE a KA engine you could buy & install at a reasonable cost (below $1000 for sure!)

A rebuild would be expensive, I would guess more than $1,000 would be likely at a real machine shop/mechanic.

Good luck either way.
