word man come introduce yourself sometime. i know you’re not a fan of the hood shit but a lot of kids that come thru on thursday love to hear hiphop - it’s hard even to push booty or ghettotech to them. this city’s tough, there’s a reason every band that makes money is a cover band, and every DJ only plays top40. i try to make everyone happy, and myself. trust me, i’d love to play one night of all hiphop, and another night of all electro/house, and another night of all dancehall…but we don’t have the market here…dancehall isn’t even played on the radio here which is unusual.
