what does DSM stand for? i know what they are i just dont get the abbreviation?

DSM is Diamond Star Motors… it was basically Mitshubishi’s ploy to get their cars into the North American market… by using Chrysler plants for assembling Mitsu cars… worst mistake of Mitsu’s life. :lol: oh yeah that and allowing their cars to be called “Plymouth Laser” for a short time :vom:
DSM actually officially ceased to exist in 1993, but the contract to build cars to 1999 (1998 for talons, 1999 for DSM eclipses)

the fastest import here is a DSM. it ran 10’s. we’re not blessed enough to have any MKVI’s at the track or anything like that.
if i had to say which “group” is the fastest here, it’d be the turbo dodge community. i have alot of respect for those guys.

you mean… turbo DSM community… mitsu 4g63 guys don’t like to be overly associated with turbo dodge motors… i’m sure you know why hehehe
half the dsm’ers are x-muscle car guys who finally gave in to the idea of 4 cylinders and a turbo. the other half are guys who want to go fast for cheap and realize thats only possible for so long before you have to spend more money :lol:
