Fact is the ppl involved knew what could happen. That rider has been on a bike since 03 and has always rode without a helmet. So why does it matter what the rider is not wearing. His concern is no one’s buisness but his own. Again it comes down to worry about yourselves and not others ---

What are we going to do now!!! There is a right way to race, and there is a wrong way to race. Was it the people that were racing the RIGHT way that got Crafton shut down? Nope. Was it the morons acting like morons? Sure was… Racing is a calculated risk, and yes this site is about racing… but if you can’t differentiate between people racing like morons and people minimizing the risk, then maybe you should stick to the track and not the street. If you are racing someone and they wreck and die, you’re going to get charged with criminally negligent homicide or vehicular manslaughter. And we both know that the cops crack down hard on stuff like this after a bad accident or a death or whatever. Plus, there are other cars in that video, so you are putting other people in jeopardy with your shenanigans. Stop acting like a 17 year old. Street racing is pretty safe when done right, when done stupidly it can be pretty dangerous. The people that do it safely have every right to bitch at those who do it stupidly, because it makes the whole street racing scene look really bad. ---

Collateral damage would have been very minimal. Look at the vid again and you will see that there is minimal traffic in the vid so… I would guess that this is street racing at it’s safest based on minimal traffic and others being put at risk , and to point out as well all who participated are fairly season veterans of the process ---

You ever catch a wasp or dragonfly to the face at 120mph? pothole, deer, dumb driver ahead of you… if that guy wrecks and dies when you’re racing him, you’re going to be getting your asshole reamed out by some guy named Jamal for the next decade… Far be it from me to tell people not to race on the streets, but if you’re going to do it, at least take the precautions to minimize the risk. Acting in a careless and wanton manner when engaging in an already dangerous activity boggles my mind. ---

SO you are saying not to race bikes then and only cars? If the car you are racing wrecks do you still get in trouble? If the bike guys had safety equipment, do you honestly think it would matter if they wrecked at those speeds?
