your car doesnt NEED a catback though, it could benefit from a catback

im gonna add a little more fuel to the fire here.
as we know nick’s s4 is slightly faster than travis’ sti. nick has raced burnall4’s stock turbo evo many times this weekend, and the outcome was the same every single time. the evo won everytime, from a dig, from a roll, even when the s4 had race gas. im just gonna use a little bit of logic here and say that if a car can beat nicks car from a roll it can likely beat the STI from a roll. how is this possible if travis’ sti can not be beat by a stock turbo evo?

nicks car has more in it, it is un tweaked and has a bad 02 sensor, which from what others have posted can hinder performance some. but you know nick,he’ll fix what it needs and be ready to battle… his car is quite impressive for an off the shelf Stage 3 kit, and an APR at that, which is the most detuned version, the European Performance Lab, or Autospeed kit, AWE, or VAST are tuned way more aggressively than the APR kits.

mikes evo does haul ass and so does the s4. The evo 9’s with mivec just take to mods and a flash very well and simply fly for what they are

lol, most cammed, tuned, intake/exhaust 9’s are makin prolly near what rubin’s car makes.

its the MR curse. the 6 speeds gearing is just inferior to the RS/GSR evo 5 speeds.
my buddy aaron has an 05 with Brian Crower 280s, meth, JESTR tuned, stock fmic, 3inch TBE no cat, exedy twin plate and he runs 11.70’s@113-115 all day… 1.6x 60’ helps

yeah… like i said there are some exceptions to the rule… i still have a few things holding power output back other than the clutch and catback…im expecting her to be 100% by mid july

nope my cars always break right before the summer and the track opens so I’ve never actually had the chance, I do wish to atleast head down a few times this year and watch
