Unless you are on drag radials/slicks or the EVO driver sucks, you are going to get your ass ripped up on the street.
In 5 years of racing, I have been outlaunched on the street like once and it was based on R/T (Juan’s DSM)

Hope he lets you heat them up. I used to play games and take my time staging in hopes of your tires cooling off.
Stock EVO should be able to pull consistant 1.7-1.8s.
Still, good R/T can beat even a good launch.

We never ran from a dig but I wouldn’t want to run him on the street. I cut very good 60’s on the street but he would R/T the hell out of me. Jay is an extremely good driver all-around even without power/speed shifting.

prime example… Ruben’s car.
evo 9, stock turbo bpu no cams, SLIPPING clutch, running 11.8’s ALL DAY! it slipped like like a knife going thru hot butter and was still pretty damn fast

its Rubin, but either way his clutch was slipping, probably from all the times i made him launch sideways and burn all 4 :lmao
