That’s exactly what I said, and when that clutch slips, the heat created is going to guarantee its going to slip more, not regain its holding power…and I don’t have an evo, although i’m well aware stock evo clutches are shit, launched a 2.2 60ft.

it overpowers the clutch… its slipping but still pulling… just not nearly as hard.

I kinda liked the turbo v6. It was unique and pretty fucking cool. Wish he kept with it for sure.

The best you could get out of an evo is 2.2 for 60 ft?!?!?!?!

Yeah, it was horrible. It actually might have been a 2.0 or 2.1, w/e the case was it was bad. I went to the Valley only one night with it and that particular night they started late and there were spills on the track like every 5 runs, a crash, it was a bad night. needless to say I only ran once, bounced it off 2 step at around 6,000 and dumped it, LEGITIMATLY the stock clutch didn’t fully grab until mid 2nd gear. Still Ran a decent time, considering. The feather method is apparently better for the stock clutch b/c i’ve heard of 1.7’s on a stock clutch.

If LVD used a bit of VHT for the imports, 60’ times would get better.
Weird that I cut 1.9 60’s all day long but never outlaunched on the street. :headbang

i cut 1.9s on 18 inch wheels and shitty dunlop street tires, streets are different, many people dont know how to launch on the street at all though, atleast fromw hat i have seen
