# eyeglass wearing peeps...

For those of us that have to wear eyeglasses…
might want to check out

They have complete eyeglasses starting at 8 bucks with lens. A couple of the 8 dollar eyeglasses looked fine to me.
I ended up with a set of memory titanium glasses, with reflective coat, and extra strength prescription for 34.85 to my door. They say shipping will take two weeks.
I’ll be sure to post how it goes when they arrive. Just use the RX information off your eye prescription, and you can order directly there.
You just need to stand in a mirror and take a measurement of the distance between your two pupils, and enter that info in as well, pretty simple.
If you don’t have a recent eye exam then america’s best will do it for 39 bucks, i’m sure places like walmart will do it as well.
This place has some amazing ratings in reseller ratings, etc.
I can’t beleive what the markup is on fucking glasses man, even americas best eyeglasses is more than double what they charge here.

So I have glasses and could always use a cheap second pair, how did you get your prescription to the company?
I go to Empire, should I be able to go in and have that info released to me?

They don’t require that you send a copy of your prescription, you just enter the values that you have straight off your prescription.

Dang, I’m going to do this. I keep a pair of glasses in my desk at work in case my contacts start bugging out.
Half an hour ago I had to ditch my contacts. The prescription in the glasses is just slightly different. I’m getting a fucker of a headache.

I’ll let my brother know, I’m sure he could use a pair for work, but he’s all about pimp glasses. He rocks Armani specs right now.
I’m a BIG believer in the phrase “You get what you pay for” though. Do these offer any UV protection/glare?

Just like any other pair of glasses I’ve had.
The memory ones I got are better made than my last pair that was “armani”
