# Facebook hacked please help computer gurus step in

Hello,
well the account wasnt actually hacked, but my family owns a small bar/resturant and one of the cooks has access to the FB page to update the info of specials and what not and when he was fired he basiclly changed all the log on info and admin rights so my aunt can not get on. Is she screwed? or can something be done to get back on the page. FB can not help her.
any input would be greatly appreciated.

yea, its weird she can still log on but it prompts her to start a new page and has no access to the current page.

You were removed as an admin so the page is now owned by another account. Def contact Facebook to verify your account and gain it back.
In the future, do your social media properly. Create your admin account as the owner and then have sub roles as people who can update. Don’t allow a non owner to have control of the Facebook account and be able to change administrators. If you need help, contact me.

Did she not do any of the security stuff Facebook asks you for (like phone) so you can reset your account if this very thing happens?

thats it. she has contaced FB but they seem to be no help…lesson learned. I do not run the page at all just seeign if any of you people know how we could fix this.

Forget this tech/reclaim account stuff. For that offer I’m sure there is someone on here willing to go to the cook’s house and beat him with a sock full of quarters until he gives up the admin password.
