My fitted express shirts are fine. I don’t really take very good care of them (never dry cleaned, just washer and dryer) and they still last a few years. If you’re gonna buy expensive shit, you’ll probably want to have the shirts dry cleaned and all that shit. It adds up in price and chances are, unless you’re sitting in board rooms with folks that have “Chief” in front of their title, it’s completely unnecessary.

Brooks Brothers outlet sucks IMO, selection is weak. Brooks Bothers carries extra slim fit shirts, they fit very well. There non-iron shirts last a long time, to get a good selection buy them online.

usually the outlet is poop but on boxing week and i suspect still, they had some non-outlet stuff there. they had about a hundred different scottish made cashmere sweaters for men and women that were 60% off which i’ve never seen there before.

\*edit, speaking out the Brook’s brother store here.

I just feel a tad skeptical buying clothes online that I’m not familiar with. Express, sure I would in heart beat since I know all the sizes and fitment.

I also did some research on indochino, and saw some not-so-good results. I was actually disappointed, because the price is good and they are sharp looking suits.

Just wanted to say fuck Express as they are phasing out the Modern Fit stuff (actually fits a human male) more and more for that extra slim fit shit. Good friend is a store manager and it’s straight from corporate that they want more of a British/European look and Modern fit is being bumped from 40% of the inventory to 10.

Picked up this as a gift to myself for my birthday:

However, I fucking dropped it on the bathroom floor and the face is cracked, sending in for repair shortly.

I like the look of the Euro stuff, but most of their dress shirts aren’t long enough and come untucked during the day. I have two of their shirts that curled at the collars and at the button holes. Even after ironing them it doesn’t help that much.

Were you…ugh…wearing it on your dick? I don’t understand how you drop a watch in the bathroom.

Going to be looking for a new pair of slip on dress shoes. My Cole Haans are beat and about 3 years old. ~$100. Also need some dress socks.

Took it off to shower, put it on top of the towel I was using and forgot I put it there. Pulled the towel and frap. The “motherf’n motherf’er” that followed was loud enough for my brother to hear outside.
