Might want to verify you can stream any of those before going too far down this road. Discovery is one of the worst when it comes to releasing their shows for streaming to anyone.

If he has VZ or TWC cable, go with a TiVo. He can do Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Vod and Blockbuster ondemand with it.

Only atv gen2 can be. Gen3 cannot yet
