Ruh roh shaggy. I’m re-upgrading my phone to WM6.1. It’s had a few sketchy problems like refusing to go into standby, so I figure a good cleaning would do it good. I downloaded the upgrade tool from VZW/Samsung. Same one I used months ago to originally upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1 without a hitch. It’s stalled at “PDA update finished. Phone update start.” That’s what the PC says. The phone says “Do Not Disconnect Entering Phone Download” I’ll leave it connected for a while, but the expected time remaining is well into the negatives. So… ---

Non Fail. ![http://nyspeed.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=7351&stc=1&d=1231303772](http://nyspeed.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=7351&stc=1&d=1231303772) I yanked the cable and nothing happened and the phone wouldn’t respond to anything so I pulled the battery then stuck it back in and WM6.1 booted like nothing went wrong. So I re-upgraded again just to get a clean install. Everything looks good. Phew. There isn’t a single VZW phone I’d rather have over my i760 right now anyway. ---

yea dude, all its doing at that point is just rebooting. you were fine. happened to me a bunch of times back at the stores. i was about to say “shit you shoulda called me”, then I thought about that… lol ---
