**Cossey’s 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited**
We chose this car because not only is it a promising platform, but it can maintain great street drivability while also being a fun car. The Legacy was an ideal choice. Not only it has grownup looks and wouldn’t look odd having man in a suit in it, it also has the ability of being year-round car, and being raced when weather is nice. It even came equipped with a dirt K&N panel air filter.
After Cossey’s first visit to Lebanon Valley Dragway, he was able to pull off a 14.5 with horrid 60ft times. After a street tune, Cossey ran a 14.197 @ 96.1mph with a 1.9 second 60ft time. With the trap speeds, a 13 second slip was easily in his reach. On July 15th, 2007, Cossey competed in his first autocross event held at Fulton-Montgomery Community College. Keeping in mind he has a 100,000 mile warranty and AAA, Cossey managed to earn a victory in the ESP class at his very first autocross event.
**Final goal for the LGT:** A 12-second daily-driven street car with some footwork for road racing.
**Dedicated track rat on a budget.**
After seeing how much fun everybody was having at the last Autocross, we decided we wanted to have fun too. Only one problem, our budget is the size of a 13 year old’s allowence. So we did what every other magazine does when they are looking for a good, cheap autocross platform, and we purchased ourselves a 1990 Honda CRX Si. Now granted, it’s not the optimal year or trim for a track rat CRX (heaviest trim and one of the heaviest years), the car is still only 2100 pounds wet, and we got it for $500 with sway bars, KYB AGX’s and strut bars installed. Good start. We purchased a set of Neuspeed springs for $40 and we are already half way there.
**Final goal:** Not to break it.

ive had a long love affair with the crx so if you need any misc. parts i have basically 2 complete cars in just parts plus more. basically stock stuff but still shit breaks. ;D
