So some CL goofball offered me this thing in trade for my XS650, not interested personally…but if someone here wants to throw $1500 for this thing give or take I’ll take your cash and trade him and you can have the quad. quote from the dude: " 2008 kymco mongoose 300 sports quad with a 2005 fuel injected Honda cbr 600rr motor put in it 18k miles on the motor with fresh oil change its a beast it will do about 140mph has liquid cooled duel electric fans electric start with 2 extra sets of rear tires one new one used new rear brake pads" pics: (nvm photobucket is being a motherfucker and won’t upload the pics) I can email them or text them for anyone interested, it’s a red 2008 Kymco sportsquad 300 with a 2005 CBR600rr motor in it. ---

ugg why a kymco. I would not want to ride that. Now if it was a 400ex, 450r, or a raptor frame then i’d jump on it. ---

This thing is stupid… You’re going to go 140 mph on a bike that was designed to go 40 … The way a 600 I4 motor makes power would make this a burnout machine … a torqueless lowend machine. Its also probably way out of balance… It also has shitty brakes Shitty suspension and who knows what type of hairbrain backyard engineering that this numbnuts applied to cramming this motor into the frame. PASS. (or don’t pass, just make sure you video your friend taking it out for his maiden voyage) ---

As far as power it would be like a 2-stroke. If anyone has rode a 250r or banshee you learn how to use the clutch real quick. If it was a different frame then the speed wouldn’t be that scary. My big bore 4x4 will do over 70. It will hit the limiter around 75ish and probably has 60-70hp. Not uncommon for 400ex/450’s/660/700 quads will rip past 80 with gearing and tire size changes. But any quad with a street bike motor is more suited for desert/dune riding.
