Ok just got off the phone.

So my fuel pump and filter were lost by UPS, so those have to be resent.
My aeroquip stuff hasnt been ordered yet
My fuell cell is back ordered and wont be shipping till next week
My new hatch, is back ordered
My cage is tenatively going in May 1st, but they say due to a customer car it may be a few days later, with a 10 day turn around puts me at May 11-13… Not to mention, wiring, tuning, etc which still needs to be done. I’m thinking I’m going to need to bow out on this one, and I’m pretty pissed off about it. I’ll know for sure tomorrow or Wednesday.

[/quote]

new hatch? what happened to the old lexan one?

It was 10 years old and had cracked in a ton of places. Just new Lexan. I had a lake in my car going down to Philly a few weeks ago.

Sweet. I left the sunroof open during a monsoon once kinda had the same effect.

You’ll still be ready for the DE at WGI right?

put the insurance back on the car today…but i shouldn’t have, because now i’m gonna wanna drive it and forget about the plans/parts i have for it…nothing too big:

Brake Pads
Tires
New misc. interior trim, door panels, etc…
All new speakers and head unit
BOV’s
Gotta ship out my ECU for a new tune
Needs oil change badly…

All can be done in one day, but finding a whole day to dedicate to it is a pain in the ass…i’m going to want to drive it ☹

i have a brand new 16 gal. foam filled fuel cell w/ sender if you are looking for one. Plus, if you make that trip to b-lo, there’s an aeroquip supplier near by as well.

DO IT!

Josh, PM me about the Aeroquip supplier, I’m out there every weekend lately (and likely am moving in June or July).

Thanks for the fuel cell offer, but I’ve already been billed on the one I ordered. The fuel system isnt the biggest problem, it’s the cage. Best case, I’ll drive out with, but wont be racing. That is 99% not happening though.

why does it have to be aeroquip? there are a bunch though

ummm why not just order your fittings from [jegs.com](http://jegs.com) its free overnight shipping

Fittings are the least of my concerns of stuff holding me up. I’m an aeroquip fan, and I like their slip on fittings/blue hose rather than stainless. I’d goto the Kevlar stuff but it’s $$$

They are cheaper, they dont cut your fingers, they dont wear through parts, they arent shiny, etc, etc. If fittings was the only thing holding me up you wouldnt see me bitching about it and I’d just order.

Oh yeah, and Summitt \> Jegs.
