Found this pretty sweet video of these dudes that have a little crew that goes out to Buttonwillow, some track in Cali apparently :lol, and romp.
:excited So want to build an N/A hatch when I’m done with the coupe.

Where is there something local? Or even within 2 hours drive of Albany, that does those type of events? I would be in for a track day.

Limerock is about 1.5hrs
Monti is about 2hrs (according to DJ)
Watkins is about 2.5hrs
I’ve never met one single person that did not get hooked. Lots of people who never tried it think it is not worth the money, yet those are are the very same people who are willing and seems to like paying for tickets and lawyers cause they like speeding at a 35mph zone doing 65…

I didnt even look in that thread. The “BMW” part threw me off, as I have a dumpy Honda and Nissan.

I feel like anything like that around here where you can just pull up and drive, if that’s even possible at a track around here, and be reasonably priced (people/racers that think $2k for a day of driving excluded).
I really like the black EG hatch in that vid.

Indeed, track days FTMFW!
Typically one speeding ticket with the lawyer is $300+, right int the ballpark of a track day cost.
I can’t wait to have a car to romp on at one, in the meantime I’ll just stick to _measily_ bike track days :shifty
