# Fiberglass lip prep work?

What is involoved in prep work for a fiberglass lip, i am not sure of what grade of sand paper to get or how many coats of primer to apply,is it safe to screw the holes near the edge of the lip without cracking it ?

i hope to do this sunday and monday since i have to work saturday :x so hopefully i can figure out what i need to do before that.

if you are talking about the lip you got off of me there is already a coat of primer on it

all you really have to do is sand out the seams at the rear corners of the lip and then maybe put another thin primer coat over it and paint.

dont put 4 hours into this… you are just going to scratch it up anyways.
