# Fiberglassers --\> ZOMG! Cupholder idea!

See, I don’t smoke, and I’m willing to bet a lot of people on here don’t either. I also know that a lot of smokers don’t like to smoke in their cars, so the ashtray in the S13 is pretty much useless as such. However, it is pretty damn useful as… a cupholder! What I do is, I just pull it out and use that to store drinks, but since it’s a bit big, and not circle shaped, it only does a semi-decent job of holding my drinks in place. Seeing as though we have a lot of talented glassers on this board making all kinds of snazzy gauge pod holders, I figured why not a cupholder? With gauge pods, you’re only getting money from the turbo (and ricer) crowd, but with a cupholder, everyone is gonna want one! Sh\*t, I know I will. And it can’t be that hard to make either, looks pretty damn simple.

they were all over ebay a while ago the circle cutouts for your ashtray
the problem is you cant shift very well with a drink in it.

I quit smoking on December 31st 11:59 pm 2005 I had my last puff at exactly 3 seconds before the clock struck 12:00am.
Anyway since I no longer have the need for an ashtray either, with a little creativity and fabricating I managed to put my turbo timer in there! Looks great and stock!

Ya 5one5 is working on making them for s14 s13 and fc’s right now Just have said anything about then as I have quite a few things on the go right now so they has been sort of on the side bench for the moment.

i dunno about u guys but i use mine as a change holder, and when i need to put a drink in it its easiest just to take it out…i dont know where id put my change without it LOL!! 8) :lol:

yeah, was looking for the s13 front lip. :d hopefully gonna pick one up tonight from a forum member. But, i think my bro doesnt want me using the FC as a Heavy track car, so looking to getting a s13 maybe (doesnt matter if its the zenki one too). So starting to reseach that
