im not sure how long the ink injected fish last never had any.that spotted pleco is a nice fish.plecos are kinda pricey depending what u get.hes about 3 inches and i pai 40 for him.cichlids are the fish that rearange the tank but with them is theye are terotorial and like to fight.so if u go with them be prepared to maybe wake up one morning and see something dead.
