# Fileing my taxes online?

thats what I’ve always used. (and I think taxslayer once)

never had a problem

edit: and while on the topic of taxes, If I had a project last year (and billed the customer last year) but didnt recieve payment until this year, do I have to claim it this season, or next? (it’s not a DBA… just moonlighting if that matters)

it hasnt been deopsited yet, i couldnt find last years stuff at the time so i had to sign on paper and mail it in… a day after i did that it turned up :doh:

i used [taxact.com](http://taxact.com), free to file federal, 12.95 to file the state.
