Not gonna waste my time searching for it, but actually, a guy on the KawiForums rode across the entire country on a 250 and kept an updated thread of his journey. Rode through heavy rain/wind, you name it. He was very impressed with the 250.

For the extra ~50cc’s, the 300 though has a lot more power and “get-up-and-go” then the 250 does.
