yup finally, been waiting waiting waiting and after 5 months saw the car of my dreams… well not my dreams but close enuf. this car is in MINT MINT MINT condition except for the occasional stone chips and 2 tiny dents on my door… (damb public parking) oh and lets not forget the stock purple AND AUTO TRANNY… _sigh_ ah well but anyways the best part about this car is that i only paid $8500!!! thats a steal, it only has 70,000km and its the last model 98! well time for some mods, i know summers rolling around but just incase it does snow again i bought some handkook winter tires on my stock rims… than im getting some sick 17 inch rims on saturday (does anyone know where i can get some decent prices for rims? or tires?) lookin to spend about 16-1700 on tyres and rims for the summer. also i was wondering about the anti theft system that comes stock, should i spend a few hundred to upgrade it and get the shock sensor and the thing that turns off the power to my car or should i just leave that shiz? cuz im worried somone might strip my car. besides that, im getting some cosmetic things done to my car in the summer… R33 skyline full kit and hopefully a paint job with eyebrows, small antenna, ajustable coilovers, and some little things under the hood like sway bar, intake, spark plugs. well if anyone can answer some Q’s please write me. thanks, much appreciated ---

Changing the tranny to stick doesnt cost $5000 unleess you get a shop to do it. Its easy to do youself for abvout 500 bux… And as for the SR thats where you start lookin into $5000 - $6000 bux. ---

Like Adam said, stick is easy, only hard part is getting the tranny in, get somone to help there and it’s only a weekend project. Congrats on the price. Get some pics up when you get a chance ---

I’ll give you a word of advice, no on second thought I’ll give you 3 whole sentences of advice! -Your wannabe skyline mobile is going to look pretty weak if it parks beside one of the RB powered cars that should be running around this summer. -Your wannabe skyline will prolly get it’s ricey ass stolen, alarm and all. wow… arnt we a little pissy today. well i dont think i need to rite proper on a forumm sincee im not tr-ing to win a spelling B. correct? and im getting advice before i go on saturday for my rims which is, lets see 48 hours from now? thing is i dont really care how other peoples cars look. and frankly i dont care because theres always gonna be somone with a better car. lol and what am i gonna do go race down to the convience store? nah i think ill pass on that btw… insurance is too high to get caught doing anything now but u already knew that. oh n’ thanks for the welcome ---

You will need to learn how to spell and use proper grammar, because otherwise it leaves the rest of us wondering what the hell you just said. Anyways tell us why did you decide on a 240sx? What other cars have you owned? Details. I didn’t see an introduction in the New Members section. ---

under the hood im clueless so id rather not touch it, im just really worried about the relyability factor with this sort of tranny swapping has anyone ever done it b4 :?: thanks for the comments good and bad, maybe ill reconsider some of my decisions i propose to make. ---

WHY, leave the 98 stock looking. Man I would die for a 98. Change it to manual and do suspension, brake upgrades, minor engine things such as an intake. At 70k that engine is bran new and really needs no work done to it. Then Drive the car and have fun with it on the track. Thats what its for, not to be in shows. When you’ve had enough of the KA, try something different. ---
