I’m guessing it’s an intake that resembles a velocity stack. Obviously air moves faster when pulled in a vortex.

eh, its actually a row of fins that go on the roof of the evo. look like shark fins.

Yeah the vortex generator breaks up the air going across the roof so you don’t get an air tumbling effect on top of the trunk (which in turn makes the spoiler more functional)
Yes the MR edition and the SE’s come with the vortex genrator.
As for the wheels…rotas rock…they look nice and all of us live in PA so we can appreciate the crap roads that we have around here (especially with construction)
So while people hate on rotas because they rip off other wheel brands, i laugh at people who think its a status symbol to spend $300 a wheel on something thats gonna get f’d up if you drive the car like its meant to be driven /end rant

Here is my point exactly. I have yet to see a valid argument for not running rotas for a daily driver except “They are cheap”. I love cheap stuff! Eventually I’ll end up with a 3rd set of wheels, but they won’t be a high priced set unless I get them used at a great discount.

nice rims, i actually have a set of rota boosts sitting in my garage in gunmetal for my wrx, but 2 of them are the wrong size. and the company doesnt have anymore in the style i want. lol. so im sending them back and getting a set of rota rev’s in gun metal. i like the styling of rota’s and yes they are nice and cheap.

Very nice.
As for the rota haters, unless everything on the car is optimized for max performance is it pretty senseless to spend 2x-4x the price of rotas to snag volks, advans, etc. as the extra loot for the most part is buying a lighter wheel. I’ll take an evo with rotas and about $1300 in parts from Buschur over a stock evo with a set of volks. I’d also still have loot left over for other parts.

I like the factory wheels for strength, and the center hub being machined to fit the vehicle specifically… they look good though
