about a bike and a half at the top of 5th…we were pretty much even till the top of my gears then he’d creep ahead. ---

It had to be a 75 then…unless either the dude riding the CR sucks at launching and had to play catch up big time or didnt know you 2 were racing. There were times when I would line up against smokey’s RM and pull the most massive wheelie off the line and almost flipped over and he got a huge jump on me(like 8 bike lengths) then by the top of third I’d be going past him at a pretty fast pace. keep in mind you start out in 2nd on a 250. By the time I was in 5th tapped I was like 15 bike lengths ahead. ---

hhaha. ive seen 4th about wide on my 250 on dirt. that was scary, but the jump wasnt bad. but ya, 5th tapped in the dunes cant be fk’d with on a 250 ---

The adrenaline of having your bike screaming in 5th as fast as it will go while aimed at a huge ass pile of sand = win We should all take a trip out to Silver Lake Sand Dunes up in Michigan. Its about a 7 hour drive but its fucking awesome up there. Best weekend i’ve ever had bar none. ---
