Well I’ve been racing karts for the past 4 years and I think it is time to move up. I’ve been looking into moving into a Legends car or a TQ midget. The only problem I’m having is that when I was racing karts I could afford to run them without a sponsor but if I want to move up and do something else I am going to need some outside help. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get sponsors for a race team? Any advice would be greatly appreciated since I don’t have any experience trying to find sponsors. ---

I have a tq forsale with TONS of spares 😉 Sponsors are going to be hard to come by as no one really substancial wants to sponsor the smaller cars when they can get a bigger logo for the same price on a big car. The key is knowing the right people I guess. ---

Getting sponsors is a time consuming process. If you are really serious, you should probably come up with an advertising portfolio/presentation that you can give to various sponsorship prospects to sell your racing team and what you can offer them. It’s going to lake a lot of pounding the pavement to make it work. Your package should probably include some of the following: - Press Release - Proposal Cover Sheet - Target Sponsor Cover Letter - Team Profile - Team Owner Profile - Sponsorship Overview - Sponsor Thank You Letter When I was racing bikes, that’s what I did. ---

[/quote] It’s a solid front axle coilover car, comes with spare chassis that is 90% done, has 2 big rear ends (one halibrand one winters) I think I have 5 complete gixer motors and boxes upon boxes of engine spares as well as gears and all sorts of other spare shit. A bunch of spare heads and alot of other stuff I am forgeting.
