I burned a 7ft tall dollhouse and my neighbors came over and laughed at the 40ft high flames. Town of Cheektowaga in the Burbs…FUK THA GOVT! ---

:lol:Sucks for you guys, as soon as the corn and beans are picked I have a massive pile to burn. I knocked down 3 hedgerows and piled them into one. Should be interesting 200 yards from 90 entrance ---

I too have had no issues in the Town. My neighbors were ticketed once though. Probably because they had been blowing off fireworks earlier that day. It was F’ing May afterall. ---

OK I just got back to my computer, I will post details soon. I should say I really don’t care what the details are though, this is a state wide ban no matter where you live. If your village makes a law that is one thing but… One detail I will tell you right now, I will be having many “ceremonial” fires. 😃 ---

we had a burn pile when we bought the farm up on the hill in holland… piled it for days with a tractor. there were a few dismantled buildings in piles, and old crap everywhere. it burned for days and days. it was pretty big… fire dept came over and said wtf!!! then realized we were cleaning the place up and said carry on, and gave us their home #'s in case it got out of hand. ---

Why did I think I could accomplish that task(scanning)? I could have typed it in by now. lol Burning waste in barrels and backyard fire pits will be illegal throughout the state as of Oct. 14. The rule will be published Wednesday in The State Register," said Lori Severino, spokeswoman for the state Department of Environmental Conservation. The ban already applies to municipalities with more than 20,000 people. The new regulation allows exceptions. Barbecues, some ceremonial fires and tree limbs and branches less than 6 inches in diameter and 8 feet long, will remain legal. But burning leaves, trash and plastic bale wrap, amoung many items will be prohibited, punishable by fines of $375-$15,000 for a first offense. Edit: So I guess you can burn short twigs as long as you remove the leaves first.:picard: Thank God they had time to put this little gem together. Our fore fathers are rolling in their graves. ---

Barbecues, some ceremonial fires and tree limbs and branches less than 6 inches in diameter and 8 feet long, will remain legal. so you can still have fire pits with decent sized logs how the hell will they know if there is trash in the pile or not? Especially if you live in the sticks they’re not gonna go around patrolling for it. ---

If they need money they will… oh yeah it is NY, they always need money. Remember when they said, “You won’t get get pulled over for no seat belt.” They take your freedom one tiny little bit at a time, it is much easier that way. Once Cap and Trade gets pushed through they won’t let you burn anything, just wait. How can they tax you if you are providing your own “utility”? And as FUCKING ALWAYS they are using “green” to push their agenda because green makes the idiots feel warm and fuzzy. ---

We got the cops called on us once. The guy in the back appartment had 3 story flames from burning 2 5’ pallet racks, and I live on the Lancaster/Alden border. Good thing those Town Line fireman where right across the street. ---
