Shouldnt be too much to have them do the xfer for you. Ive paid as little as $10 depending on the FFL. Dan ---

I think that a good sam membership from gander camping world something something waives FFL fees, but I have never tried it. Targetsports and a few others might accidentally ship to NY though. ---

I think hunting might work better if the deer are in the same square mile as you and your rifle 😃 I immediately thought of you having a policy with a 1200 yard minimum distance requirement. I’ve got a Savage Mark II coming eventually. It’s cheap enough and should help me figure out if I’m willing to put any real effort into the attention to detail required and shooting at things greater than 50 yards away. ---

As much as many can prep/ scout for deer, mostly seems to be right place right time. Savage makes some decent equipment, and while most high dollar shooters won’t admit it, they can be ridiculously accurate for what you pay. I have a handful of them. Practice and move up in caliber when you want to go further. Distance = challenge. That’s when you become a bigger part of the accuracy equation. ---
