What is it? There’s a guy selling a 87 firebird and he said its only 1/4 in the us. ---

I’m thinking it’s just a custom programed EEPROM for the ECM. ---

:picard: If you are talking about an entire car you need to go back to like 3rd grade english. Are you talking about an entire car? If so I’m guessing a Firebird with a police package like Ford’s Police Interceptor and the car is from California Highway Patrol aka CHiP? ---

Ok 1987 Firebird 350 V8, 400 auto transmission. the owner(seller) said that there is no way anyone has these parts around because it has an interceptor chip in the motor. Also he said it is One(1) of Four (4) in the United States. He said that the car is between Formula and Trans Am, But in the middle? As soon as he said that, I was Like WTF. Basically he said also that you cant buy parts for this car in the United States. I know he is trying to BS my buddy, and he knows it too. So if anyone knows anything about this “interceptor chip” inform me so I can inform my buddy. Also he says its matching numbers and everything. There non-third grade-ish. ---
