Update.

Well I just got back from the AutoX weekend and here’s what I got done before I went:

- Install Wolfe 6-Point Cage

Yup, that’s it. Haha. See below for my reasons/excuses though. I did some basic shit like change all the fluids, check the brakes etc. too. But not nearly what I wanted to get done. On an up-note I had an awesome time at the AutoX. The car is really getting sorted out and my driving is coming around nicely. The course had me deap in to 3rd gear (so nearly 90) which is hauling ass for an AutoX course. 🙂

What I didn’t get done:

- Install PA Racing Tubular Front K-Member - A-Arms haven’t come in, no use ripin’ up the front end twice ☹
- Install PA Racing Tubular Front Lower Control Arms (awaiting arival  ) - **still awaiting arival**
- Alignment (awaiting above installs)
- Relocate Battery to the Spare-Tire Well - I’m teh lazy
- Power Steering Cooler - Can’t place it 'till the new K-Member is in ☹
- Motor Oil Cooler - Same
- Build Bracket for above Coolers - Same

Still a lot to do right there, and this weekend just made my list grow. C5 Brakes, Race Seats, T2R diff. and 3.73s etc. etc. It never ends 😃

> It’s at Laguna Seca. I used to live in da 'burgh but live in Santa Cruz, CA now. I still keep on the board to keep up w/ some old buddies and since it’s just damn entertaining sometimes. 😉 Honestly when it comes to racing sometimes I wish I still lived there. I drive 3 hrs for my AutoX events (although the course is huuuuuuuuuge for an AutoX, we’re talking mid 3rd in Fbodies = 80+ which is nice compared to the small events at North Park) and 3hrs to the drag strip (which I rarely go to anyway). When I was in PA I had like 3 strips within 1hr plus the flashlight drags and Zeilenople (sp???). And they were just finishing Beaver Run which looks amazing (I never got to use it though ☹ ). Then again here I have Seca under an hour away, and Sears Point, Button Willow and Thunderhill all reasonably close. _shrug_ Oh, but the Seca track day is like $279 but you do get 7 run sesions. **EVERYTHING** is expensive in Cali.

God hates California. You need to move back to the east coast before he smites you.

If I found the “right” job I might do it. But I like it out here. BTW I was driving up to Sacramento to sell some car parts the other day and I came across a road sign that had a few local towns distances then at the bottom “Ocean City, MD 3072” I thought that was kinda funny.

Now that I think 'bout it maybe it was 3073… but I wasn’t in Sac. Probably about 2hrs south of it when I saw the sign. Weird.
