I did read somewhere that they are partnered with Cingular to roll these DRM infested phones so you will probably be in luck.

Of course it does, that’s err, ummm, where I came up with that… 😉
Oh well… So you are in luck then.
I honestly would switch back to Cingular because there is more potential for growth since WCDMA is more widely adopted but there is no 3G (UMTS/HSDPA) data in this area yet. EV-DO is stil king. That will probably change in the next 5 years since the rest of the developed world is using it.

itunes phone was also a cingular release, so yeah, theyre partnered with cingular

With 2 year contracts from Cingular, but that’s likley not until fall 2008.
Q4 in Europe / Asia, so look for it unlocked for around $1k at the REAL release…
… Sounds just like the RAZR when that came out, except I don’t see Apple giving them away after a year (stupid moto :mad: )

and I heart the 3g network here in tampa, my speed test showed 787kbit/sec, .608 Latency using [test.dslreports.com](http://test.dslreports.com)
