tommorow im going to buy/pickup a new car. well the the car isnt new but it is to me. well anyways back on topic. the car is a 1985 300zx turbo. all stock excep for a boost gauge and an intake. just looking for ideas what to get.

Whered you pick this thing up from?
For a stock turbo, id grab a full 3" turbo back exhaust from CM Performance or Motorsport Auto, thatll deffinatly let the car breath a lot better ;D

You know what…
Im going to agree with JClark :ssh
Theres a reason too this… acctualy a couple
1. Hardly any aftermarket - You want something made, either A) Do it yourself or pay someone an assload of money to do it for you
2. A common mistake made by most is that because the car is pretty cheap/easy to get ahold of, that it makes an awsome car for the “budgeted” person… Really, its not! Go buy a civic if you want a fast cheap reliable car
3. Not the most nimble car in the world
4. I know you, youll try to drift it, go right ahead, but the Z31 Sucks in that area, unless your this guy butters, in which case you can spend a year fabbing/customizeing a complete S14 Rear subframe into your car
But if you want to spend a lot of money I say go for it, if not keep it have fun with it then sell it, and have fun killing yourself in the winter!
And yes don’t do a damn thing till its 100% Mechanically sound

replace all the worn out seals, bearings, rings, wires, hoses, those bubber bits in the doors, refresh the interior and make the body look like its a 3 month old car. refresh the tranny, lenses on headlights and taillights so theyre all smooth and shiny like new. make that interior nice, reupholster if u gotta. replace the floor carpt and such. you get where im going with this?
