# First time at the track!

Hey guys, last night was my first time ever at the track and I ran my car 11 times.
Here’s the car:
92’ 240sx Coupe
Redtop Sr20det
2 1/2" exhaust /w gutted cat
K&N intake
Koyo rad /w duel electric fans
I had alot of fun, my first run down the quarter mile ever was against a Black s13 240sx Ka-T. He was running 13.00’s to 13.50’s roughly, which explaines why he yanked me 4 times in a row lol.
My best run was a 14.53 which made me pretty happy, here’s the sheet:
R/T - .405
60’ - 2.358
330 - 6.298
1/8 - 9.489
MPH - 77.40
1000 - 12.220
1/4 - 14.530
MPH - 96.92
Any tips, tricks, comments? Would you say this is average for a 240 with my mods?
If I was to mod it more what you reccommed me doing?
The track beats the hell out of the street!

Well first off, congrats on your first time at the track. It’s fun as hell eh? That time sounds about right, how many PSI were you running by the way? Now it’s time to take it to a lapping day, come to dunnville next week, July 15th!

Hey bud your right it is fun as hell! I was running stock boost… pretty much a stock Sr but thats gonna change soon!

good times thats like factory tested and what not for a sr20 to run. i want to come and track mine, also stock, just a intake and 3" racing exhaust. alot of people say for some reason its fast for a redtop. but i will see what i run…even tho i always buy used S\*\*\* tires lol.
I love the results tho good job and im glad you have taken it to the track
