This is just for you JDaniels! Straight from Livernois:
The car, a 6-speed manual, was baselined with a stock tune before the install with roughly 5,000 miles and made 390 RWHP / 384 RWTQ. The only modification was OEM Shelby GT500 mufflers.
With our previous dyno tune loaded, it made 418 RWHP / 400 RWTQ.
After installing the Steeda CAI and re-tuning, it made 430 RWHP / 410 RWTQ. A gain of 12 RWHP / 10 RWTQ.

I can guarentee our traps are within 1-2mph of each others as well…

Used cars to new cars is apples and oranges, theres reasons to buy both depending on the buyers situation. Comparing the new Camaro to the new mustang is an apples to apples comparison and its not even worth comparing because its so lopsided.

Its funny that you guys need to use your OLD platform in order to gain an edge. Did you guys forget there is a new camaro out?? You already have cam, boltons, gears etc and have less whp as a stock car with a CAI and a tune(N/A) :lmao

you say “old” platform that is the same platform in the z06/zr1/cts-v’s that are mopping up the super car world. Cant bash something for being “old” that is holding the crown.
and its nice to see that ford finally (after GM gave them a chance after 02’) is getting their heads on straight after 8 years to finally and barely get a edge on their old technology competitors.

Im just sayin, you dont hear shit about the new cars, b/c they suck and are slugs. So you have to refer to the LS1 platform. And the ZR1 is on the same chassis as a old fbody???
We were ahead for a LONG time, up until 93ish(95 is you ask me), then you guys finally came out with and engine worth talking about, only to be shut back down in 2003, and again in 2011. I will admit, Ford moving to the 2V NPI 4.6 was a DUMB move, and they were dogs(96-98 cars), but they paved the way to the great motors we have today.

2011 5.0: Auto, 5k Miles, Bone Stock
1st Race: Dig, 5.0 Jumps, and is out of site lol
2nd Race: Dig, Even start, 5.0 pulls 1.5-2 cars?
3rd Race: WS6 no passenger, roll, 10-120, WS6 by half a car?
4th Race: WS6 no passenger, roll, 15-120, WS6 by a car?
