[left]i got a problem with my headunit…the unit is pioneer DEH-8600MP…i just noticed that the motorized front plate is not working… the face plate doesn’t come out when i tried to eject it…same thing happened when I shut down the car…whereas it suppose to auto-eject…it doesn’t do that anymore… any ideas to fix it? do you gus know somewhere or somebody who can fix headunit? -cal[/left] ---

HOLY WHAT THE FUCK My 8400 is doing the same fricken thing. For some reason it stays open now. I have until the end of the month to return it to best buy… how ironic… i get the 4 yr plan, my shit breaks in the last month of the contract. ---

lol… goog luck with that. There is a reset button on the face… which is like disconnecting the power w/o removing the stereo itself. It will reset all presets and sound adjustments… and smoetimes it will reset the motor… hopefully yours is just confused. Mine is def fucked though. ---

If you need to get if repaired I have always gone to Hi Fi Hospital on transit near sheridan. Good luck ---

^ a ha! that’s what i need! Hi Fi hospital? is there a complete address? im still hoping that if i play around with it…it’ll cure itself…maybe the reset button… hm… T\_T EDIT: FORGOT one thing to ask: how much do they charge? T\_T I hope it won’t cost me an arm and a leg… T\_T ---
