# flashing lights on ecu.. please help.

okay so i know there is supposed to be a red and green light (or sometimes just a red one depending on the ecu). well no lights flash or light up when i turn the key but not start, or when the car is running. does this mean my ecu is pooched?

First of all does the car run and drive fine??  
Next as far as lights there is a dial on the ecu where you can put in diagnose mode where lights flash  
to give you codes to help find problems  
but honestly if the car drives fine don’t worry about it
