Hey i planning on making my car flash its head lights and running lights like a police car but i dont know how. Does anyone know if there is a relay you can buy and where could i get one? i have a sensor that would flash them to the beat of music but i would like them to have that constant flash. ---

they are strobe lights. you can get the police car strobe kit witch costs around 250 dls for fronts. but it is illegal to have unless your parked. or you can get the cheaper strobe kit witch costs around 25 dls. at any canadian tire or performance shop. for the actual police strobes check ebay or buy them at a car show or flea market. ---

are you talking about the roof mounted or blue n amber colour lights on the cop cars? cuz i am referring to the tail lights and head light, also some police cars have the reverse lights that also flash and im hoping to not add any external lights yet. eventually i want to make a po po look alike with the roof mounted strobe but i cant find out if its legal any where. ---

um no dude. im talking about the strobe lights inside the light housing also. same as the cops.roof top lights are the cherries, and it is illegal to have both. if you turn them on while driving you will be royally \*\*\*\*ed my friend. but for show purposes and all your fine. ebay and i listed a few other places. ---

When i said i wanted a po po look alike, i meant the flashing in the head lights, i know i would get pulled all the time is it looked like a police car. i was only referring to shows, but its not illegal to have flashing lights where i want them if im drawing attention to myself at shows. any ways i still want to know how i could do this. i have seen led’s you drill a hole in the lights and then connect them to a relay, and i wanna know where i could get that realy or learn what its called? i would rather flash the bulbs them selves and not have to install more lights. ---

if you do that it wont look the same and you will or probably blow your bulbs as they are not meant to do that. ebay is easy and cheap or go to a local performance shop ---
