But its red stock wheels big fart can. I seen the car in Robinson a couple of times. ---

i got 3 races there i got there kinda late… 1st riviera supercharged(sp) lost by like 1-2 car lengths 2nd riviera again lost by 1 3rd cobalt won by like 2-3 if i would have had traction i could stayed right with that riviera cuz once i got traction he never pulled anymore on me really ---

Alot of underpowered cars with good drivers end up doing very well there. ---

I raced… 1. Grand Am with head light removed and a whining sound. Spun like mad and beat him by 3 cars. 2. Z06 C6, I spun a little less this time, but you know how that one turned out. :down: 3. Really clean older black+silver striped Malibu. Good matchup…I finally figured out how to launch my car (1300 brakestand, slower pedal application so as not to shock the tires) and took him a 1/2 car on the holeshot and never looked back. 4. Ford Ranger (yeah I know what you’re thinking). I think it might have been a 5.0 swap, still pulled like 3 car lengths or so on him. 5. VW Passat. Guy came up to me and asked if I was looking for a race. OK, I’ll run it…I forget if it was 4motion or not, but he hole shot me by 1/2 car then I walked him about 2 cars. 6. The “other Hemi charger”. the really nice looking lightly tinted black one. He has the R/T with the R&T (supposedly more HP from the factory) and I notice he has aftermarket tips hanging out. I’m bone stock and not R&T, so I figure I’m cooked on this matchup…pull up to the line and I hear him tach up to like 2500+ RPM brakestand and I know what’s about to happen next. I pull a holeshot of about 1 car on him and hold it. I just out drove a better car with my stock setup. ---

Hey guys, just wanted to say I had a great time there and I’ll definitely be racing next time. My car has about the exact same mods as the white 93 vr-4 that ended up winning the tuner class. The guy that won (shaun) wasn’t having the best launches for most of the day, up until like the last 2 races. I think he mighta lost once over the entire day. Wish I coulda gotten to meet some of you guys and maybe race ya, but I just wasn’t ready for it to be my first actual drag race. ---
