anyone know if there are any float tanks (sensory deprivation) locally at any spas? if u dont know what im talking about you probably cant help me but thanks, i want to know before i drive to TO for it ---

I think you are screwed, closest float tank I know of in NY is in NYC. ---

and the reason why the body feels afloat, the water is at a controlled temperature of 93.5 degrees, there is so much salt that your body floats absolutely with no effort the same temp as your skin, so you cant feel anything at all, so your body ceases to sense touch, sound, sight, taste etc i have an audio clip where joe rogan talks about it, he owns a tank and after listening to the audio you might want to try it out at least once ---

we were talking about this at work today. The guy i work with said that there is one in rochester, i’ve never heard of it though so i doubt it, but i’ll try to find out. ---
