# Floating, Polarized Sunglasses for $6.00

Last year I lost a $200 pair of Oakley Sunglasses at the Lake Eire / Can-Am Free Ride when I failed to jump a wave… didn’t want that to happen again. I replaced them with cheap mall kiosk sunglasses and bought some awkward looking floats for them… They worked but it was an ugly solution.
I found these this winter after doing quite a bit of searching for sunglasses that floated, looked good and were inexpensive. And they’re polarized as opposed to some tinted plastic crap from the mall:

lol nah it’s a real post. Have you ever looked for floating sunglasses @JayS? I know you’re a boating guy. All of the ones I’ve found are $100+ and ugly. There were some questionable ones on Amazon but again the designs were terrible IMO.
These are cheaper than the shit China sunglasses at a mall kiosk. And floats for normal sunglasses are $10-$20 on top of that.
I can’t be on the water and not have sunglasses or I’ll get a headache and my day will be ruined. I figured someone else might be in the same boat… pun intended.

I bought one even though I am not near any water in Texas. $12 shipped for mine. Replacing a pair of Ray Bans that I lost that were $200 as well.

The code also works on the 4 pack, these might be perfect as I do a lot of whitewater rafting, canoeing, fishing. I usually use my pair of oakleys with chums attached but I think I ruined them

The “Blue” ones, that looks purple, are also polarized. Just picked up 3 pairs for $30, thanks a lot!!

Oh come on… Those Chums are essential to pull off the preppy-boater appearance, popular with those “all boys” schools. I hear Coles lets you in free of charge with Chums on your Ray-Bans

got mine today and they are super cheapo glasses. I guess thats what you get.
mine had rough plastic finish on it i had to file it down with a razor so that it didn’t rub on my face.

Should have taken a picture and emailed it to them.
But yeah, they’re cheap. Thread title says so. They also float which is a feature you won’t find with other sunglasses at this price point.
